From arts and crafts to outdoor play, our volunteers show up for kids in all kinds of meaningful ways — and it shows in every smile.
Support teachers with daily lessons, reading groups, and hands-on activities.
Lead creative projects that develop fine motor skills and self-expression.
Bring joy through song, rhythm, and movement activities for all ages.
Supervise and engage students during outdoor play and physical education.
Assist with office tasks, filing, communications, and event planning.
Help organize field trips, fundraisers, holiday celebrations, and showcases.
Volunteers may participate for up to 6 hours per week, split across our two daily shifts. All volunteer roles are supervised, with responsibilities assigned based on age, experience, and ability.

Volunteers agree to follow Butterflies Academy's policies, maintain student confidentiality, and conduct themselves respectfully at all times.
Volunteers are not permitted to take photos or videos of children during their volunteer activities.
Participation is voluntary and may involve activities with inherent risks. Volunteers release Butterflies Academy from liability for injury, illness, loss, or damage arising from volunteer service, except where caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.
We schedule up to 2 volunteers per shift, Monday through Friday. Morning shifts run 8:00 AM – 12:30 PM, afternoon shifts run 3:00 – 5:30 PM. Click a shift below to add it to your application.
